Engineers Week 2018 24th February - 2nd March
The week is a collaboration among schools, businesses, community groups and volunteers from the engineering profession, who come together to showcase the exciting world of engineering. Events and activities that aim to be fun and informative for all involved will take place around the country during the week – which will take place from 24th February to 2nd March, 2018. The annual event is coordinated on a national basis by Engineers Ireland’s STEPS programme – a strategic partner of Science Foundation Ireland’s (SFI) Smart Futures Programme.

Engineering Your Future TY programme – coming soon
Applications will open soon for ‘Engineering Your Future’, a week-long, hands-on programme for Transition Year students who have an interest in science and maths. The programme, hosted by a number of colleges around the country and supported by STEPS at Engineers Ireland and a number of engineering employers, is designed to introduce students to the exciting and diverse world of engineering.
The programme gives students a week of exposure to the various engineering disciplines through interacting with lecturers and graduates, taking part in workshops and meeting engineers during industry visits.
