Census 2016 Summary Results Education and Unemployment

The latest report from the census office concerning educational attainment levels and the labour market deliver some interesting findings. On a positive note there is an overall increase in student numbers participating in education with a higher percentage of females.

In addition the percentage of younger people aged 30-39 with 3rd level qualifications is now at its highest at 49.8%, while the figures comparing employment opportunities versus qualification levels prove without doubt that those with higher levels of education are more employer attractive.
