38% of Worlds Potential Skills Talent Unused

According to the latest Global Human Capital Index 2017 report only an average 62% of the worlds talents are being utilised. A total of 130 Countries were surveyed to determine how well they are developing their Human Capital from a scale of 0 (worst) to 100 (best) across four sub indexes, capacity, deployment, development and know how.

Only 25 nations topped over 70% with EU Countries including Ireland averaging exactly 70% rating. The report also identifies two essential skills required for individuals to increase their chances of career development in a rapidly changing world of work namely, Interpersonal Skills and Basic Technology Skills.
