The North West Regional Skills Forum is hosting an information evening for Sligo employers wishing to learn more about the various funding, support and services available to them from local education and training providers as well as other organisations supporting local businesses. This event commences in the Aurivo Lecture Hall, IT Sligo on Thursday April 19th at 5:30pm.

This “one-stop-shop” event will hear presentations from IT Sligo, Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education & Training Board (MSL ETB) and St. Angela’s College, describing the numerous services available to employers in relation to training existing employees, recruitment of graduates for full time, part time and placement positions, apprenticeships, traineeships, research & innovation, support for new start-ups and much more.

A number of employer support organisations will also deliver short 3-minute pitches outlining the financial and other support available to Sligo employers in relation to recruitment grants for recruiting new staff, financial support for upskilling existing staff, business expansion grants, innovation grants for research, industrial relations support and much more. This unique event will have many of the numerous employer support bodies in the one room at the one time providing employers with an unique opportunity to learn about the significant support available to new and existing companies.

This event would be very relevant to business owners and managers from all sectors. We are expecting a big turnout and it will also provide your business with an opportunity to network with other local companies.
