Promote Engineering at Primary School Level

Company Expression of Interest in Primary School Engineering Promotional Activity

Manufacturing & engineering companies across the South-West agree on the importance of introducing manufacturing and engineering activities to learners as early as possible in the education system to incentivise a longer term interest in careers in engineering. To achieve this goal, companies stressed the importance of working with STEM initiatives to drive engineering promotional activities deeper into primary schools by facilitating engineers from their companies in delivering engaging programmes at the optimum age for engagement in STEM subjects (9-13).

To encourage optimum engagement and a collaborative, co-ordinated approach to STEM promotional activities at primary school level across the South-West, the SW Regional Skills forum have agreed a discounted group rate for manufacturing and engineering companies participating in 2018 spring/summer promotional activities. Please complete the expression of interest form below and your details will be forwarded to your programme of choice, who will provide further details for next steps.
